On Friday, Oct. 14, Sigma Chi hosted a concert to benefit their national philanthropy the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Leading up to the concert, which was held on Samford’s intramural fields, members of Sigma Chi advertised tickets at Ben Brown Plaza. The concert was opened by Samford artist Cole Smith, followed by the night’s headliner, country artist Rayland Baxter, from Nashville, Tennessee. The night had a great turn out, with many students coming out to show their support. Ticket sales directly supported those working to find a cure for cancer.
