Women’s soccer clinched their ninth straight SoCon regular season title this weekend after beating Furman and Wofford on the road.
After struggling to score in previous games, the Bulldogs finally hit their stride with six goals on the weekend. Sophomore Whitaker Buchanan led the team with a goal and two assists.
Samford ends the regular season with a record of 5-3-1 and heads into the SoCon tournament on Friday. The dogs play at home against the winner of the match between VMI and The Citadel, which kicks off this afternoon at three.
