Davis Domescik, Bulldog Blitz
With basketball season right around the corner, Samford’s men’s and women’s teams are being lauded in the preseason.
Six players (four men and two women) received Preseason All-SoCon honors, as both the men’s and women’s teams are looking to build on their success from last season.
Ques Glover, Jermaine Marshall, Logan Dye, and Bubba Parham received All-SoCon nods for the men. For the women, Sussy Ngulefac and Andrea Cournoyer took home the award.
Going into the season, both teams are looking to end postseason droughts, as the men haven’t made the NCAA Tournament since 2000, while the Lady Bulldogs have not received a March Madness bid since 2020.
Both teams will open their seasons on November 7th, with the women facing Troy and the men facing Anderson University.
