As flag football intramurals end, another sport begins. Ultimate frisbee has made its way on campus and has found much success among the students. Many groups have been formed, including fraternities and independent groups, RUF, and even law students.
Many students love intramurals for their combination of social and physical activity. Spencer Underwood, an intramurals referee and the team captain for the RUF Riders, states “a lot of the students get engaged on campus and make friends, and grow in fellowship. And as well as get active, stay active, stay healthy and get the stress off and just relax.”
So far, only six games have been played this season. An independent team going by the name “Huck It” currently sits at the top of the leaderboard. They have three wins and zero losses, with two of those wins being forfeits from other teams.
