With homecoming less than a week away, here is what you need to know about the events the university has to offer this weekend.
On Friday, Nov. 4, there will be a pep rally at Seibert Stadium where the Samford cheerleaders, band, and student-athletes will go to celebrate the upcoming game. In addition, there will be family-friendly games for all to enjoy during the pep rally.
The night will conclude with The Samford Alumni Celebration, where President Taylor will be speaking and honoring the 2022 alumni of the year.
Starting on Saturday, Nov. 5, Samford will kick off game day with multiple tailgates from Todd on the Quad to sorority and fraternity tailgates. There will also be a tailgate hosted by Samford’s track and field team where athletes will pole vault on the quad.
At 4 p.m., the Bulldogs will be ready to take on their opponent, VMI, at Seibert Stadium.
