The soccer team had an exciting weekend as they beat The Citadel and Mercer in the first two rounds of the SoCon tournament, with scores of 2-0 and 1-0 respectively.
Once again, Whitaker Buchanan led the team in points with two goals on the weekend. Goalkeeper Emma Donley held down the back line, making 9 saves and earning two shutouts.
The team has suffered multiple season ending injuries for key players, but they’ve done well to stay positive and rally for the final stretch of the season.
The Bulldogs will face UNCG in the championship game, which will be played at home on Sunday at 1 pm.
