The mens and woman’s basketball teams held a Fan Fest for their fans this past Thursday to say thank you for all their support.
As fans arrives, DJ Skippo got them into a celebrating mood to kick off the upcoming season.
Both the men’s and woman’s teams passed out t-shirts, prizes and food.
Gifts such as one hundred dollars and a yeti cooler were given out to Samford parents, alumni and students.
Coach Bucky of the men’s team spoke to fans at the event; encouraging them to show up To as many games as possible, repping that Samford red.
Junior Charlie Morrison stated that he and the team are ready to give the season and fans their all on the court.
The basketball team hopes to host more events like this one in the future to continue show their appreciation for their fans.
