Dear The Beez,
I’m looking for a good class to take in the Spring Semester. During registration, I wasn’t able to get any of the classes I needed so I’m sitting on two credits for the spring, and to remain a full-time student I need to add a couple more. Do you have any suggestions for classes to take in the spring?
Thanks a ton.

Dear Melissa,
Thanks for reaching out. In fact, people have been asking me this for years, and my top three classes remain the same — take your pick based on what you’re looking for.
- Sorority Function Etiquette (SORO 101). This course, specifically designed for freshman boys, is made to show the clueless freshman boys how to thrive throughout the fall function season.
- The Caf Through the Middle Ages (CAFE 417). The Caf went through the dark ages relying on strictly meat, cheese, bread, and lucky charms. Take this upper-level cuisine course to learn about how Mr. Carl led the Caf through some trying times.
- Birmingham Cuisine: Yummy Bowl (YUMM 201). This course is designed to spotlight different shining lights of Birmingham, specifically Yummy Bowl, right off of lakeshore.
Let me know if you have any more questions!
