Since transferring to Samford from South Florida this past offseason, junior quarterback Chris Oladokun has fit in well with his new team and the rest of the offense. Having played in all seven games for the Bulldogs, the Tampa, Florida native has passed for 1,585 yards, tossing 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. Additionally, he leads the team in rushing touchdowns with six and is second on the team in rushing yards with 350. Oladokun is seeking continued success throughout the season.
Q. What is your favorite part about Samford off the field?
A. My favorite part about Samford off the field is that everyone is really nice and genuine, and really look out for your best interest in your life after school.
Q. How has the transition been to Samford coming from a bigger school like USF?
A. Honestly, the transition was a little weird at first because I was so used to being in a huge school with 65,000+ students but I’ve enjoyed it ever since.
Q. What made you choose Samford?
A. Coach Hatcher’s offense and the success he’s had really caught my eye and made me want to come here.
Q. What is your major?
A. I am currently majoring in Communications.
Q. What do you want to do after Samford?
A. After Samford, I hope to be playing at the next level in the NFL, and after that become a sports analyst or broadcaster for ESPN.

A. To always believe in yourself.

A. I have been playing football since I was five years old.
Q. What is your favorite aspect about the game?
A. My favorite aspect about the game is the pressure and competition. It drives me to be the best for my team and myself.

A. My favorite sport besides football was always baseball growing up.
